2012 is a year tagged by many cultures around the world to signify massive change, whether it be in consciousness or the ultimate end. Mayan, Aztec, Dogon, Hopi, Hindu, Zulu, Tibetan, Inca, Cherokee,  Egyptian and Buddhist perspectives all point to a significant shift at this time. 

The United Nations General Assembly have designated 2012 as International year of Sustainable Energy for All and International Year of Co-operatives, which is about contribution to  socio-economic development: reducing poverty, generating employment and social integration. It's also Year of The Book and Reading. (HO!)
